He's 7 now and he has been asking me to post a picture of his "trophy wall". He's supposed to be in bed right now but I told him I would try to get this done. I have one picture ( I have no idea how to post it here) if anyone could host, James would appreciate it.

He got them all except the coyote (I slowed him down with a 30-06) but James finished him with his Henry Microbolt. Just got the weasel and coyote the other day from Harvey Sylvester, taxidermist supreme, in Sherwood Park.

The boys grandpa gave him that 1857 musket you see in the corner. I don't know what the stuffed polar bear and dog is all about, but I guess real ones are next on the list for him.

Thanks. When I croak, y'all can talk to James online. I'm sure he will be posting stuff (when he learns to spell)

It's nice to know that some day he will use all the stuff I have collected over the years rather than it going into a garage sale.....lol

BTW...if you are in the Edmonton area and you need some great taxidermy work done, Harvey Sylvester in Sherwood Park is a true genius. His home is a shrine to taxidermy and he is a pleasure to deal with. None of this "two years" to get a fish stuffed.....and no, i'm nt related to him and he is unaware I am giving him a plug here. I think it is important to let others know of great gunsmiths, taxidermists, outfitters, etc because none of us want to have our hunting memories destroyed by a hack.

I think his nickname "Dude" might be appropriate.......might have to sign him up and he can help write something about this weekend's bear hunt......I plan on video taping him "arrowing" a bear....his bow is too small but I think if he used a rubber tip it might make for a great video.....if nothing else, we will post pics if we get to go.

He has been lifting 5lb weights for the past three days, trying to build his pipe-cleaner arms up so he can pull the bow all the way back.......that's dedication. he's build like a lollipop, big head and a stick body....has to run around in the shower to get wet.
