Hi,
Just readjusted everything on my Lee Pro1000 last week and cleaned it up and started a new batch of 9mm loads. Got over 500 rounds made when my Z-Bar started popping off. I kept reinstalling it and adjusting it per the Lee video and it still flexes in and out of the case feeder at each end of the stroke. After several strokes it eventually pops out. Anybody else here have that problem? How did you deal with it (other than scrapping it and buying a Dillon or some such!)?
Thanks,
Glen

I had that problem when I first got my Pro1000. I bent the ends of the Z bar open just a little and it hasn't happened since.

I found the Lee video after that, but never did the adjustment.

The bending trick has worked so far.

+1, I just bent it a little to keep it in place, it only pops out when a case jams and I don't notice it.

Thanks guys. I though there might have been a more technical solution, but bending the stupid thing seems to be working!
It happened because of a slight change in my case feeder height I didn't notice. Caused excess pressure on the feeder itself and resulted in popping the bar out. It also released so much pressure it caused my press to bottom out and break the powder feeder chain! So, a dollars worth of chain and a plier bend of rod and I am back in production!!
Thanks again,
Glen

I had a similar problem, but couldn't get the bends just right.
I ended up ordering a spare, along with a spare case feeder slider (I messed up the first one, trying to fix a feed problem). Lee spare parts are not a lot of money, and can save some aggravation.....
