So I have a single shot anschutz rifle it is marked on the barrel as model 1402A. I have searched on Google and found nothing I also looked at anschutz web site and there model starts at 1403. So what do I have and why is it so hard to find info on it? It has an adjustable trigger and I want to know how to use it. Thanks for any info you can give me.
Ps it’s a tack driver I group half of what my 10/22 dose.

not sure but looks like it may have been a youth rifle. like you can't find anything in english, but appears to be more info on the European websites, hopefully someone can help with the trigger.

It has an adjustable trigger and I want to know how to use it.

My CIL/Anschutz 310 has an adjustable trigger that has one big screw in front of the trigger that controls pull weight, and two small screws (one in front, one behind the trigger) that control intial and over travel. Does that sound like your set up?

I forgot to mention that I have to pull the stock off to access the adjustment screws on my 310. If you can get to yours with the stock on, they're not the same.

when i looked at it there are two set screws one in front and one behind the trigger. I am amazed that no one can tell me why this rifle seems to not exist iv emailed anschutz and am waiting to here back from them.

1962 but not the A version.

the rifle is deffinitly no short by any means im 6'3'' and it fits to my shoulder fine. and do you think the A is just for the match trigger ?

Possibly a different stock. The one in the picture is specifically a Junior Model and I would guess that adult models were also available, but this is all I could find. Does give you approximate vintage and a place to start.

Wow thats a very nice little rifle you have there. I know Anshutz have very high quality biathilon rifles. It great they make hunter clas rifles as well. How does it shoot?

it is a very accurate gun im getting alittle over one hole groups with the gun at 25 yards with the odd flyer those are my fault and im just running a cheep scope i would like to upgrade. i would love to hunt grouse with it but its a single shot and my 10/22 dose ok.

Hmm,

Looks identical to my CIL ANSCHUTZ 180

The 180 is CIL's designation.

The 180 is the same action as the CIL 190 with target stock.

Both Anshutz 64 actions.
