Says retail value of $600-999. So you could end up with a $600 firearm for $600. Not really a chance I would wanna take. lol

I think you need to go and re-read the original post. This time a bit more slowly. I see the statement of retail value of $800 to $999 that they are offering for $600. To me, that reads that a firearm they are selling for $800 gets marked down by 25%, and up to 40% if it is a $1000 firearm.

See this is where critical thinking goes a long way.

You know what the retailer is trying to do, we all do. Move some stale stock. come up with a creative way to try and sell it somewhere near cost so that they can bring in new inventory. Keep the business alive and open versus closing up shop like so many other gun businesses out there. And then we all ##### and whine and blame Carney.

Instead, CGN crucifies them over a typo. We all KNEW it was a typo, but, the internet crowd wants is cup of blood.

FWIW, there is no edited indicator on the OP, and I saw it just after it was posted, and saw $800-$999. But, I can also see that a casual glance might see a 6 instead of an 8.

It without a doubt said 600-999 before they edited it, you need to chill.
It was an absolutely stupid deal before they edit it and you saw it.

Edit to add: If it said 800-999 they definitely wouldn't have got roasted as much as they did, if at all, just sayin, critical thinking goes a long way.

These type of things always turn me off. Like already mentioned if it’s a cool gun and you put that type of discount on it they would sell quick one would think.

And I can admit when I am wrong too. I missed that marker, and I looked 4 times for it. Might be a problem on dark mode.

Either way, we all know what the intent was of the retailer, and the typo. Would have gotten a lot further pointing out the mistake rather than hanging them.
