I left feedback for Jerry at Mystic Precision on his awesome Mpod I purchased, but thought I'd post it here also as a new shooter feel good post plus proud dad story :p

Finally, some feedback for this wonderful pod.

The story also has a nice twist.

Thank you Jerry, I am so very happy with the pod.

Platform: Savage Model 12 F/TR, .308 win, Sightron III 6-24x50, Mystic Precision MPOD

Ammunition: Lapua GB491, 155gr Scenar HPBT

Location: DNR 100 yard range, NS. 18c, 5km wind left to right at 90degrees

I took my son Brandon to a DNR public range tonight to sight in my new
Savage Model 12 F/TR.
Sighting was done at 100 yards, and took about 10 rounds to get it spot on for myself being a lefty.
The Mystic MPOD was set to the highest adjustment to compensate for the tall rear bag/rest, and adjusted for the crooked ass table the DNR supplied on site.

Once sighted I let Brandon shoot 10 rounds.

**Brandon is 18 years old, and until tonight has never touched or fired a rifle in his life.

The result pretty well speaks for itself.

With a quality rifle, ammunition, optics, and a stable shooting platform (MPOD), Brandon was able to shoot a nice group.

I highly recommend this pod!

Thanks Jerry, keep up the good work!

I have little experience with this kind of feedback, but felt it was deserved
so bear with me if it seems incomplete or noobish :p

A good day indeed. My son is beaming, and has the target posted to his Facebook page. :)

She made him wait untill he was 18 and you listened. She must have had one excellent reason or persuasion techniques :D

You and your son have lots of shooting to do together. Get to it. :)

Thanks for the review and so happy that the MPOD is working out for all of you.

The first run is now sold out :)

Seems there is a growing interest on the other side of the pond which is really exciting.

Next batch is hopefully ready for mid July with a decent portion already spoken for.

Just for S&G's we are thinking about an even lighter version. There will be compromises of course but be cool to get it to 10ozs....without the use of exotic materials

There is a quick mention of the MPOD in the June Target Shooter Ezine from the UK.

Supposed to be a full review in coming editions.

Jerry
