Mythbusters TV show: Blowing up Guns

I tried to get them to do the pointed bullets in the tube mag thing, but they wouldn't bite.

That would have been an interesting one alright. Too bad they didn't go for it.

The local gunshop has a "banana-peeled" rifle up on the wall which they say was caused by mud in the muzzle. Strange that the soft materials seem to be the most destructive.
