To be totally honest I think both rifles have something to offer.
The H&F/NEF rifles are chambered in some great cartridges that Baikal doesn't and problem won't ever chamber theirs in.
And plenty of people have said that they could accurise and refine their Handirifles into amazing shooters.
I'll testify to that.
My mate's H&R 17HMR is astoundingly accurate.
But the Baikals seem to come out on top in terms of build quality.
As I said before, though, it's about time they started shipping rifles chambered for cartridges other than the "same old same old" outside of Europe.
You guys may be happy with .30-06 & .308 but it bores me to death!
