Guess?
I am thinking of picking up a nice Enfield No4 Mk1 and I found one online in VG condition and all numbers match. Is $549 a good deal?

Well, we need more info. Who is the manufacture, do you know the year it was made etc etc.
549 is a tad high if it is Brit or an Ishy but on the other hand if it is a mint 1941 LB it is a steal.
Help us out with some more info

I do know of one person who bought from Ellwood and was happy with it. Also, there's a dude in Sherbrooke with quite a lot of nice stuff. Try not to jump on the first Endfield you see, take the time to shop and get to know the market.

EE is equipment exchange. You need to ask for access on this web forum, a few days later normally you would get access and lots of members are selling, buying or trading.

Cheers,

Lou

Hi

If at all possible, get your hands on a couple of rifles and look them over. A lot of what you see on the internet will make a little more sense then.

I have found that there are relatively few internet dealers who offer both a well described product *and* a decent price. Check around a lot before you buy from somebody. That's not a knock on anybody in particular. I can't buy guns in Canada
