N555 Powder

Does anyone have experience with N555 powder for a 6.5 CM?

At Vihtavouri's max listed charge of 42.0 grains behind Hornady 140gr ELD Match, the groups come together quite nicely but I was seeing 100 fps less than the 2700 they promised. Was using Lapua SP brass and a much shorter barrel than their test unit.

I tried it, and 4350 behind the 140 gr bullet.

Did not like the speeds I was getting out of a 26" barrel in the 2700 fps range, so went back to using RL16 and 2900 fps range.

Im playing with it right now in my 30 " barrel - i can get 2850 fps with 44 grs and a 144 bullet
accuracy is good with it too - i'ved settled on 43.5 grs for NOW just around 2825 fps
Staball 65 shoots good also !
Nowe to try N160 and the Old standby H4350
