Hey Guys,
Wondering what the interest would be in people getting a North American Arms Mini-Master but with a 4.25" barrel for restricted status.

This is a 4" version.

An associate of mine at The Gun Center (formerly Lovett's) in Kitchener, Ontario, is looking at bringing in some (read roughly 3 dozen) with a 4.25" barrel.
Prices are estimated to be around the $425-$450 + taxes for one with both .22 LR & .22 WMR cylinders. Timeline is supposedly for around X-Mas, but to be confirmed....

We already have an order placed for the minimaster with 4.25 inch barrels. NAA has been very receptive to the Canadian market and we are just waiting for the production of the guns.

We expect to be under $400.

lol...little late to the game...but competition you say ehhhh

Tell them to bring in The Earl and I'm game! Still would like to see some Canada specific stampings.

Actually, my looking at getting about a dozen of each the following.
Mini Master .22LR/.22WMRF combo fixed sights
Mini Master .22LR/.22WMRF combo target sights (~$20 more)
"The Earl" .22LR/.22WMRF combo (Same $ and fixed sight Mini-Master)

Just as an update and for the competition aspect :)

The Gun Centre (Kitchener, ON) is going forwards with it's order for a dozen of each of the previously listed.

I cannot wait to get mine. I also want to see "the Earl" in person (Missed it at the SHOT Show last year somehow....)

I was told by the president of the company there minimum order for a custom run was 50. I wonder how they got around that.

No idea. Of course you guys are loooking at custom S/N's.

I'd certanly go to the gun center to check one out...:) they seem cool...but I dunno hw usefull really (as an only .22handgun)

Laugh. Never about practical use. (Even though the .22 WMR cylinder will be a hoot).

The custom serial numbers were negotiated after the minimum quantity was negotiated, no matter, all the more guns in Canada, all the better

As for practicality?

a .22 can pop balloons just as well as any caliber, and that's about all your going to get to do with a handgun in Canada anyway (wilderness carry aside...) so might as well be with kick butt Made for Canada .22 (IMO)

Why the Earl and not Mini-master? -- I'm asking because I'm trying to decide between the two.
