I have a Nagant 1895 revolver and having problems relaoding.
i saw .32 S&W long at reasonable price

people say that it is possible to shoot this cartridge from the revolver .
but on wikipedia it says it COULD BE done at shooter's risk

what would the risk be?
how safe is it to use the .32 S&W long instead of the 7.62x38R?

Never done it, but thought about it, but decided against.

What I heard/read was that case is slightly smaller diameter than specified cartridge, therefore case expansion and splitting can/does occur. Whether or not its at a power and pressure to your liking is another matter....

I've shot .32 S&W Long through my Nagant with no problem. However, .32SW casing WILL BULGE.
