I have bought a few too many guns lately (I know, that doesn't sound possible) and a few are going to have to go including a couple of Nagant revolvers. I did some searching on the forum but I don't see any recent discussions regarding the going rate for these. I have an 1895 made in 1912 (single action, gas seal) and what I believe to be a Belgian made 1893 made under contract for Norway. Photos posted below. As I believe the 1893 was manufactured pre 1898 and should be classified as an antique I have sent in a request to get it deregistered, so fingers crossed. For those of you who follow Nagants, what do you feel is a realistic price for each of these? Also, if I have the ID incorrect feel free to let me know. Nagants aren't really my thing, hence the reason I am going to part with them. Thanks for your help.

1895 Russian

The 1895 Nagant if it is a single action only maybe in the 500-1000$ range (prices tend to vary a lot on these revolvers).

The 1893 Nagant if you get it antique status I could easily see in the 1400$+ range.

I know this isn't a ton of help but normally the only Nagant revolvers that come up for sale in Canada are Soviet Refurbs.

Thanks for the feedback. I thought there were quite a few of the 1895s floating around but apparently they have started drying up. I am also a little surprised by the lack of response to my question. I don't spend much time on CGN like I used to a couple of years ago and I was expecting a flurry of replies.

Things seem to have calmed down a fair bit. To be honest the main reason I even commented was the fact no one else had. The debates and threads that used to happen don't seem to happen much anymore.

Most the M1895s floating around are Soviet Refurbished examples, which is a bit different than your example (a non-refurbished Imperial example).

I think Eaglelord is in the right ballpark for value. I have a later refurbished Soviet Nagant and the asking price for those is all over the map from $200 to $800 but I'm guessing they generally sell around $400-500. Yours should get a premium being from a different era.

Any antique centerfire is generally $1200 and up depending on condition and ease of creating ammo.

Range price for refurb 600-800$

At the moment given the demand for an antique category nagant, I’d ask 2000$ for that if you get it unregistered. And I wouldn’t budge a penny less.

Based on what I have seen over last few years and a quick e.e search, if someone offers you $1+k take it and run!

GunBroker and ARMslist have a number of them starting at about $380U.S and going all thew way up to $750 U.S. I agree with the rest of CGN who posted, it will be in the $600-800 range. Especially now that few more AR type of rifles have gone non-restricted.
