Nagant revolver

If you're looking to shoot it a LOT then figure out where and how you'll get the ammo for it. The actual Nagant rounds are not cheap and even reloading stuff isn't common. There's a modified case solution I read about but you lose the nose seal that makes the Nagant so unique. But they are easier to find and case trim so at least you have some options.

I have one and like it for it's unique gas seal (that doesn't really do much, but is interesting). It's kind of a nuisance to try to find cartridges for it, and I don't wan't to reload them, so I don't shoot it much. In the US I had one and got a "spare" cylinder that took .32 ACP, that made it cheaper to shoot. Unfortunately, that's not an option here.

saw one today.russian 1945 for $200 loved it then found out ammo is hard to get.i was told some company in quebec makes reloading stuff for it. dies cases etc

Yeah, I've got one and I quite like it, but it's a neat gun for a collector, not a shooter. I usually end up paying $75 for a box of Fiocci ammo, and that neat gas seal system gives it the trigger from hell, as others mention.

Although at least the Nagant has an excuse, I've got an Italian Bodeo and the pull is even worse, for no reason!
