OP, you sure set the standards high for us regular joes. Good on you for treating your wife so well. I can only dream of getting my gf her own personal firearm (she needs her RPAL first, mind you).

Some came with a threaded barrel: that is the thread protector you are seeing. Others came with the compensator weight on the the front too. Either way, I believe all Mosquitos came with the barrel extended beyond the slide (or at least any I have seen).

The fact that if my wife sees the gun that you had custom made for your wife I will then in turn have to have the same thing done for her = Hate for you...


Seriously though, that is a nice little gun and a very thoughtful gift (you big softie! lol) I'm sure your wife will have lots of fun with it. (Personally I think I would have gone for the ### as opposed to the range though...)

Oh, and I completely agree that you need more guns, the only long range precision gun that I have seen in your collection is your PGW... (I could be wrong about that though)

I love the setup of that room. Wish I had the space in my house for something like that. I amcurious though how you keep the metal panelling on the walls from scuffing your guns?

So I was laughing as I read this, my wife asked what was up, I read her the post... then showed her the gun and all she had to say was "well now you can forget getting me the Colt Gold Cup I wanted, you can get me a Pink Gun!!"

now I'm just debating how sacraligious it would be to get a Colt Gold Cup done out in pink... lol

On the serious note, do you reload for the .38 super? I have never heard of that cartridge before.

The gold really accents the black though. I'm jealous.
