I currently buy factory ammo, when I find it, I load up. I do keep my brass and plan on reloading for it, and 10mm (as I've recently acquired a Dan Wesson 1911 in 10mm)

It really is a pimp tastic gun!

Seriously though, that is a nice little gun and a very thoughtful gift (you big softie! lol) I'm sure your wife will have lots of fun with it. (Personally I think I would have gone for the ### as opposed to the range though...)

Oh, and I completely agree that you need more guns, the only long range precision gun that I have seen in your collection is your PGW... (I could be wrong about that though)

Correct, just the pgw for long range. I haven't even shot it yet....

I figured if I was going to dabble in long range, may as well get one of the best!

Well, I bought her her own gun, no more using mine. Pink Sig Mosquito

I even gave it some extra special touches...

Took the slide top to a local jeweler



Had her name engraved on the top of the slide

Had him drill out the sights and epoxy in 2 yellow diamonds for rear sights and a white diamond for a front sight.

Bought her all the Packing in Pink gear to go with it

Mine wants to move into a condo and get rid of all my animal mounts and guns.She's hated my hobbies for years.But of course they are all easy to get along with when you meet them.Married 30 years in Aug and soon to be single by the looks of things.I'll be as wary as a 3 legged coyote before ever fall into that trap again.
 
Shooter, you wife sounds amazing and you gun collections looks even better! I am happy that my gal doesn't care about my guns. She had never shot a firearm before and she loved shooting the 1911. And, since I bought my 12 gauge, she is itching to shoot it. That's good enough for me ;)
