Name that stock ?

This stock came on a recent purchase that was acquired for the action. I’m curious if anyone can help identify it, not that it matters. It currently weighs 26oz, appears to have been shortened at both ends as the total length is 26” with a 12” LOP. Appears to be a high density foam from the hole drilled for the front sling swivel and removed rear swivel. Thanks for any insight, let the games begin

I do believe that looks like a Summit stock if memory serves. Not sure if they're still in business, but I remember their ads from old Rifleshooter and Guns & Ammo magazines. A cursory Google search yielded nothing though.

Almost looks like an MPI creation to me.

Came on a Remington model 7, it appears to have some stories to tell as it wears some scars that didn’t come from moving around in the safe.

I have an MPI on a model 700. It has a short forend similar to what that has.

I would guess based on weight and the model 7 it’s an MPI

If you find popsicle sticks in the fore-end we'll know for sure that it's an MPI
