Name This Paw Print

Nice manicure there Wham-O. :p
'Tis a cougar kitty.
Why?, cause that's kinda what I want 'em to be.! Thk
Seriously tho, hard to say when they're that stale.

Most definately there was one big 'ol feline lurking round the Blue Mountains a couple years back.
No mistaking those tracks. Distinct, and ... Massive.

What is the stride length and width and gait ? Is it two distinct animals or one following his trail on multiple days ? It looks like a dog print that has melted, unless you have giant paws your self . With the melt and thaw of the snow it is hard to go by a picture taken a few days later, with the pointed toes I am speculating that there may have been claw marks that have melted into the rest of the track .With a cat the toes are going to look more rounded IMO .

Yup I would say small wolf , not a big timber
not running . Are the rest of the tracks zig zagging
if they are straight it's a dog not wolf

Lynx and cougar tracks are similar in size but NEVER show nail marks. Bobcat tracks are lonie sized.Coyote or wolf probably, then again it could be dog.
