Name This Tool - What is it?

We have a Winner!

Too Funny...my turn:

No it's not a Binford2000 Filberflange Overhead Floormat Adjustment Tool for a Delorean Laugh2

A Mate on a different forum knew right away. It is in fact a "Boresighter Riser". Used to elevate the Collimator/Boresighter when optics are mounted higher such as an AR, Black rifle or hunting rifle with over-sized Objective lenses. Also used on Off-set optics such as angled red-dots for the tacticool firearms that have co-witness optics and such.

How it works: You choose your arbour/Cal and place it in the V block secured by the set-screw. Place the boresighter on the fixed spud...and away you go!

Further research shows that Brownell's even sells an upgraded version of this, which is adjustable for height. They call it a Collimator Elevator.

Now we know!

Or...you could just shoot in a dirt pile at 25 yards and adjust from thereR:d:

ok - how about this set of "tools"? They came in a box with gun related parts and bits?
Any ideas? They are hollow to the one hole in the side of each piece.

The holes in the side are for tightening the sections together. Looks to be adjustable in 1" sections, a cap for the bottom and the top is threaded to fit on the last extension with a leading beveled end, thinking that something is being put inside of it? OK next genius?
