Just back from Nambia. Hunted with Eintracht Jagd Safaris.

Was as good of a trip as I could have imagined. Stayed two weeks. Took Kudu, Oryx , Hartbeest, Hartman's Mountain Zebra and warthog. Did some fishing on the skeleton coast and checked out a bit of the Namib desert. Very diverse and beautiful country.!

I posted a hunt report on African hunting forums, not sure how to post pics on here anymore. Will try if anyone can help me out!

Thanks ,Craig.

The hunting there was awesome. It was much hotter than I am used to. Shots tended to be farther than here in Alberta, and when the PH says shoot you had better quickly or the animal is gone.

The amount of game seen daily is hard to describe. So many varieties of game everywhere. The PH ability to spot trophy quality animals is also amazing.

I did not see any elephants in the desert, I did see giraffe and mountain zebra in the Khomas Hochland Mountains

Hiked to the top of this kopje, where Pieter spotted a nice hartbeest and then began a mile and a half stalk through the Thorns.

The Khomas Hockland Mountains were a.rough place. The Toyota Land cruiser s did a remarkable job there., No way I would drive my F350 4x4 there. Steep hills, loose rock, and wicked thorns.

My wife's one wish for my trip.was a zebra. Got her.a.beauty of a stallion and also culled another for meat. Tough animals living in a tough place, I hit them both good with my 375, and they both ran.

Thank you guys for helping me post, i understand photobucket doesnt work any more unless u pay them.

Namibia is a remarkable country, very nice people. Flight there was a bit much, long time on a plane, but worth it. Airport security in Ethiopia needs some training, it is a bit unnerving to be pulled off a plane, into an underground tunnel with no lights, and asked to open your gun case and show them papers, they dont know what papers, they just want papers.

Awesome pics, that’s what I’ve been waiting to see :)

I’ve wanted to go to Namibia since I first learned of it years ago. Better get going as I’m not getting younger! :)

Yes i hurt myself pretty good last spring, enough of putting things off i want to do. Will post some desert pics and fishing pics this evening, as well as three more oryx and another hartbeest.

machinistbutler, it looks like you got to see some beautiful country and took some exceptional trophies. I am going in August of 2019 and, now that I see your pictures, can hardly wait!
The rainy season should be just ending in Namibia. Were people concerned about the lack of rain or did they get adequate amounts? I plan on flying to Frankfurt and then direct to Windhoek. Not sure if that is a better route than you took? Why fly Ethiopia Air? Cheapest flight?
Thanks for sharing!
