Nanaimo Rondyvous

Nanaimo held its black powder rondyvous this past weekend; 47 shooters, excellent weather and a good time was had by all. I was too busy shooting to take pictures of the rifle trail and the hawk and knife throwing, but here are 3 pics of the orange cannon event. The targets are cut out of steel plate and are 35 to 45 yards away. Ammo is fresh oranges. I tried my best to get a photo of one just as it hit but no luck unfortunately.
The orange targets in the distance are for the black powder cartridge rifle event. In order they are pigs, chickens, sitting ducks and coyotes.

Is that #### in the frist pic with the hat and Arms crossed in the back ground?

It was a great Rondy The weather was perfect
Thanks for all of your work on the trails Doug, and thanks to Derek Pritchard for donating the scrimshawed powder horn, that the club raffled
I got to meet Pops and had a good blether with him.

The one with his arms crossed is Don who I think is on the list as woodtick. #### is facing away from the camera and wearing a red shirt. He was shooting a short mini cannon and had difficulty aiming low enough or at least that was his excuse and he is sticking with it. :>) :>)
what was not shown in these pictures was that after the orange cannon event we had a mini cannon event which was cannons under 1" and shooting at a silhouette of a coyote that I moved back every couple of rounds until it was out around 45 yards. There were quite a few hits on it.
