Nanaimo rondyvous

for those who don't check the event section, just a reminder that Nanaimo is having its rondyvous this weekend. We will be shooting all day Saturday plus Sunday morning with the last trail finishing about 1:00 pm. Steak supper on the BBQ on Saturday evening. Trails are all refurbished and several new and challenging targets plus a new hawk and knife trail

Will you be doing any tactical simulations/mock battles?

Im trying to organize a primitive shoot over here, still need to get confirmation to use some private land, some volunteers to help with the leg work/food temp shelters etc....

Well, that was my first rondy, even if I could only make it for the day on saturday.

Lots of fun! The trail walk was great too - lots of inventive targets at all sorts of distances, and beautiful scenerey too! (that's important when you miss as much as I did).

Glad that you enjoyed it. Remember practice, practice, and more practice Grasshopper :>) In reply to the question about re enactment type activities, most if not all rendezvous in BC are geared towards competitive shooting, usually on trail walks and towards the social aspects of the group getting together.
I include some photos from the rondy for the benefit of those who could not make it.
