Nano lube?

You got the wrong forum dude! This is a gunsmithing forum. If you want data on Nano lube check out some of the geeky putor sites. Nano lube was developed by the Swiss for use on stuff like atomic microscopes and putor chips. Regular lubes are to thick for these applications. As a comparison. For them to lubricate their stuff with gun oil would be like us lubricating our guns with 1/64th inch ball bearings! Putting Nano lube in a gun would be akin to lubricating your gun with air. Would not work that well. Rod

If you use the search tool, you will see information on nano lube. I ordered some at it works well in general and well on my semi-autos and that of many shooters who I have I lent it too. It is a very fine oil, but they different weights and some with CLP now.

Nano-Oil tm by StClaire used to be Nano-lube until there was a heated and well publicized TM infringement.

StClaire is nice to deal with, I have 4-5 of his lubes. When he heard I was coaching the Ontario Pistol Team, he sent me some additional lube with CLP. Nice gesture.

The search button is always the first thing I click, then ask somebody personally, posting a new thread is usually plan C. Google is just way overrated, sometimes.

I hear nano-lube is one of the only things that can improve the trigger pull of the FiveseveN pistol. Thanks for the replies, I know more than I did before posting.

A word of warning when using Nano-lube, its seems to creep into places you don't want. So please use it sparingly.

I have used it on my 1911 and S&W revolver, and on a Walther GSP that was misfeeding. It did improve things, but by how much? I'm sold on it being a good lubricate, but would never say its a trigger job in a bottle.
