Narrowed it down to the GSG 1911 Tactical OR ISSC M22? Need help deciding!!

Is it just me or does the frame look short, almost commander length short??????

I have had both in the past. While almost everyone gives the ISSC a bad rap it really is a fantastic gun so long as you run CCI mini mag ammo threw it. Anything else causes problems.
My old GSG ran flawless on almost any type of cheap bulk ammo I could get and kept shooting.
Both of the pistols are on par for accuracy.
If you want reliable, accurate, cheap to shot (CCI Mini Mag isnt really that cheap compared to .22lr bulk) get the GSG. If you have a glock and want something to ressemble it side by side at the range get the ISSC.

You want a GREAT .22lr get the CZ Kadet pistol. Best .22lr pistol I have ever had. Shoots like a laser beam.

Well I sure do like the blocky look of the ISSC, too bad it's on the fussy side for ammo. I am thinking perhaps I should go the Sig route and play with exchange kits, or maybe just buy two different .22 pistols and check them both out for a while myself.

Now there is a third option Bfiles, you can always dig around your safe and see if you can find a CSA 7.5" in 762 and sell me that. I'm looking for one of those too.......:)

Why are you so miserable? That you gotta crap on his choices.

I call em like I see em lol. If you want a good .22lr pistol thats not made out of plastic or pot metal is reliable and is not trying to rip off another design trying look like a ''big gun'' buy a Ruger MkIII or a Browning buckmark.

There you go bud, a little explanation is all I asked for. Thanks! And sorry about the DirtMgirt thing, that probably was a little below the belt.... :D

Another 450rnds through mine, shot anything I put in it, rem subs, win target, blazers, thunderbolts, cci subs.

I'd also sugest the Sig P226 22lr. Great gun. I only run my with Mini Mag and it fuctions perfectly. I have tried running other stuff through it and had nothing but stoppages. I've owned the Buckmark Hunter and Ruger MKIII w/ 7in flutted barrel. Had no issues with either, shot great but sold both. Had a GSG 1911, great gun, lots of fun to shoot and ate everything. Sold it.

The Sig is my favorite 22 to shoot. It doesn't lock back on last shot but if you replace the follower with one of the SigPower followers it works great. It still doesn't lock back per se, but stops the slide from slamming on last round. It does take some getting use to because you still need to manualy lock it back, but it's a slight pull back to engage the slide lock. I also threw a SRT kit and SS guide rod in mine for fun, didn't need it or anything but..... I shoot my Sig more than my Kadet and Glock AA. The 9mm conversion kit is also a great idea, if you can find one..... perfect combination.

Hope that helps
