National match-type stock, or not..(M305)?

I am looking on the Boyds web site. What is a national match type stock? What is the difference between the national and one that is not? What I will be using my M305 for is at the range and hunting. What would be the best stock for me? I have already decided on a laminate from Boyds.

Part # 403-111 m1a style 1 (uf) $61.80 (US)

or

Part # 400-414 m1a style 2 (si) $89.99 (US)

Style 1 is (uf) unfinished. Style 2 is National match (si) semi-inlet ??

The National Match stock is a bit larger in outside dimensions than the regular stock and needs to be final fitted to your rifle.
If you are looking for a drop in stock your best bet would be the 403-111 style stock.
