I can’t even watch it. He has no idea about anything. What a boob. The FG42 was not the fastest shooting of the war, it was mg34 variants mounted in aircraft. And then he holds up “8mm” but it’s 8x56 Hahahah dummy. The flags look fake, and the shooting belt buckle....lol I turned it off. I bet 50% or better is fake.
I am not an expert on German small arms, but I did listen to what he said. He never said the FG42 was the fastest firing machine gun of World War 2. In fact, the FG 42 is not a machine gun. It is a select fire main battle file used by German paratroopers.
He said the MG 42 was the fastest firing machine gun of WWII. Most knowledgeable people would say that or something similar, as it's rate of fire was far higher than any other gun used by ground forces in World War II.
You said the MG 34 variants mounted In aircraft fired faster than the FG42. Thus you fail to distinguish between a rifle and a machine gun.
A gun called the MG 81 was used by the German airforce. It was a variant of the MG34. But has a distinct name that you got wrong, as you also wrongly asserted that the FG42 was discussed in the video. Thee MG 81 did have a slightly hire rate of fire than the MG42
There is a difference between making mistakes and being a fraud. I like the old man. I think the internet allows characters like this to entertain and educate. But the internet also is a platform for petty people to defame others, while asserting expertise and self righteousness.
Wow ... I gotta wonder why someone would want some of that stuff oh well
Wow, a guy spends his life in an attempt to chronicle aspects of WW2 but that' not enough for some. He should also have an iq of 180, and never be wrong with his stories of events. That's a high bar for most basement dwellers. Despite some inaccuracies and questionably authentic artifacts. his collection and the story it tells can not be dismissed casually. OMG those canisters are fakes therefore.........................those mg's were not near as lethal as those uncles, fathers, and grandfathers mowed down thought they were.
Museums keep collections to preserve the past, private collectors are believers in what they collect,
Because he has an interest in it? I wonder why you would even post that

I think that if collections like these are not accessible - and most museum collections are not - people will forget. If they are "edited" and limited and manipulated by politics, the truth will eventually die. When the facts are there to be seen the truth can't die. His collection should be front and centre in a museum, but there are some incredibly unpleasant items there and most people don't want to see what our species is capable of, so it isn't. If he donated it all to a museum, they wouldn't display it - they'd catalogue it in an archive and it would never see the light of day. That's how we forget history, and that's how we repeat it. Ask the average 17 year old about Nazis and WW2 and all you'll get is a bewildered look and probably a reference to Donald Trump.
