A couple of my rifles are fitted with Leupold QRW ( quick release, weaver style mount) rings. I like them, and am considering a similar set up for another outfit, but they run at about $100 (not including bases) before I get them home. I notice that Tradex carries an NCstar version of similar looking rings for under $20. Anyone have experience with the NCStar quick detachables ... is it the same old "you get what you pay for" story, or are they fairly serviceable?

My previous experience with any NC Star hard gear has been exactly that- got what I paid for, which wasn't much.
Their soft goods like range bags, mag pouches, and the like have always treated me well so far. But if you're looking at putting a set of rings on a rifle, it doesn't makes sense to me to put $20 of Ebay scope rings in between a couple hundred or thousand dollars worth of rifle and scope. YMMV
