NcSTAR 3-9x42 Sniper Scope or similar?

I bought one because they were cheap. I stuck it on an SKS, because it fit nicely. It is clear but the depth of field is certainly lacking. The paralax isn't bad, for the price. Sharpness leaves a bit to be desired and the flip up, see through lens covers are useless.

I haven't shot it yet but for the SKS, it will probably perform as well as the rifle dictates.

If it's all you can afford, go for it. Just understand, a practised shooter can shoot as well out to 100m with iron sights as well as a shooter with a scope. Its been proven time after time.

If you're using a scope, on a 22rf and you have decent eyesight, the scope is mainly for the "cool factor".
 
I just purchased a 3x9 Sniper version from one of the site sponsors.

I did this after handling the same scope in my hands and seeing the quality of it at a shop down here in the states.

The 3x9 has a quick release mount, and Green/Red illuminated reticle

I have no idea how it will shoot but as far as handling the product it seemed to be of a much higher quality than I had imagined, thus why i purchased one. It will live on the CZ for a while and I will report back.
