No I'm not using the search feature.

I need to know how long you've had an NCStar on your rifle, what calibre and how it's held up. I got one on trade, know nothing about it but like the mil-dot and illuminated reticle. I want to use it on a not so hard kicking rifle and plan to upgrade later, but have it now so I want to use it. Total POS or not too bad varmint scope?

Mileage will vary. Most will say don't bother, some will say work great on .22's and other low recoil rifles, and few will say they use them on they're heavy hitters with no problems at all.

Optics are the most import thing you can put on any firearm ....buy it right spend the cash for a good one and only cry once

I've had an NCstar scout scope on my Garand for about a year and a half and it works great, holds zero and I like it quite a bit actually. Totally plane jane, but it does it's job.

I've got a NCstar 6-24x50 on my .22-250, it's only been on it since the spring but so far I'm really impressed with it. I got it just as a temporary scope for that gun and didn't expect it to be very good but it's seen a couple of hundred rounds now and is still holding zero.

So far so good
