Have you bought or used a NcSTAR 3-9 x 40 rifle scope?

The one I bought would have lost zero with a spitball gun. Total garbage. Just give the money you will/would be spending to someone on the street. At least the money maybe can do some good. Spending it on an NcStar scope is worse than throwing it away. Just my opinion (although a strong one)

Quality is spotty. You might get lucky and get one that works ok, or you might not. The glass quality is poor. They tend to have a wandering zero and the adjustments are not consistant. Buy one of the Bushnell rimfire scopes - you'll get more for your money.

I have seen them at the gun shows, and have always been curious, until I grab one and have a look. Like looking through a beer mug.

I have an NcStar red dot on my M14, I'm happy with it. I also have a handful of Futong/Fitco scopes and am pretty happy with those too.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I actually took mine off, chucked it about 50-60 yards down range, and shot half a brick of .22 at it with my S & W 422 pistol. Most fun I had in a long time. Hit it at least a dozen times. Anyone have a broken one (has to be in the hundreds) they can send me for target practice?? Harder to hit than they look. Great for practice. :D

I should try this.

I have two NC Star scopes, one on a Ruger 10/22 and one on my AIA Lee Enfield 7.62 Nato. Both function well, and have put at least 100 rounds through the Enfield.

I've got 2 of them - one, a 3-9 X 40 on a .22 and I'm very happy with it, but I've only put about 300 rounds through the rifle with that scope on. I also have a 6-24 X50 on a 300 Win and I've also put 2-300 rounds through it, with no problems at all. I wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

Uh oooh. I thought this poll was a joke. To be honest though, I put thier laser on my glock 20 for trigger practice and it's held up to hundreds of hot 10 mm rounds.
