Is there actually a way to use the scale with the curved lines at the bottom?

Hey Dave, there probably is but there are no decisive graduations? I wouldn't spend the money on an NC Star. I've bought a couple of them just for fun but believe they are not worth the money. You will have to get them out of the States and add shipping, gst and the Customs fee and with that all said it's considered illegal to import. Save your money and get a Falcon or used Super Sniper.

It's just for my 10/22. I'm looking for a good scope with at least 18X magnification under 250 bucks and target turrets.

The falcon seems great but too expensive for what I want to do with it.

I might also consider a Mueller 8.5-25x44 Tactical from whitefalls but I kinda feel ripped off with today's exchange rate.

i almost bought an NCStar but after looking into them extensively in forums and online reviews i basically got the impression that i should stay the hell away from them :(

have you looked at the BSA Sweet .22s?
or the lower priced Bushnells?

with the sweet .22 it seems that many people are very happy with them but you have a small chance of getting a crappy one and then you have to try and send it back to the US for replacement.
bushnell replaces their scopes from their warranty centre here in canada but has a long lead time.
