Please direct me to a thread if one exists regarding this topic, however I couldn't find one in my search.

I'm currently doing research to do an "AR-22" build and I am exploring several stock/chassis options. I was curious if anyone has any hands on experience or general knowledge regarding this chassis for the 10/22?

The prospect of being able to use any standard AR-15/M4 hand guard/RIS or pistol grip is enticing, however I am curious about the actual quality of the piece and compatibility across brands of furniture.

I have one and love it. No need for a special upper front rail to match up to the one on the chassis, as any standard railed forend lines up. l have a YHM on mine and it matches up perfectly. I also like the fact that the mounting hole for the buffer tube is lower than a Nordic or Ruger SR-22 chassis. Makes it easier to get a scope mounted closer to the bore and still be able to see through it! Also has a nylon bumper in the back of the chassis that has a setscrew behind it to adjust tension on the receiver for a good tight fit. Only thing I have found wrong with it is the safety button sits too high and rubs on the chassis making it very hard to operate. Also the chassis does not come with any screws/mounting hardware and they use longer screws for the top of the receiver mount. Not the easiest things to find and NEA does not answer any emails. I found the ones from an Archangel aa556 kit worked perfectly. I forget how long they are exactly.
