That looks excellent. How long is the rail?

I like the lower stock position over the SR22 location. You don't need stupid-high rings and optics with built-in mounts (like the FastFire or TRS-25) will work like they're supposed to.

230 for chassis
200 to finish it
270 for ruger 1022

700 bucks and the anodizing won't match accessories . Good luck !

considering quite a few guys already have 10/22's and AR parts kicking around, kinda changes the math, which by the way based on your sub total is $670. I think you should focus more on your school studies and leave prouct development to somebody else.

Are u sure about that 230 + 270 = 500 + 200 = ??? . Anyway im glad you guys are making new products . but i do have a liilte issue with the anodizing of those products. the process dosent match other accessories

hahahahah, wow. im the retard today.

As for the anodize, its run in a tank with Colt Canada's product and it would be a headache to try and darken it

Sick looking 10/22. if set up right how Accurate could you get??

It is just a chassis that clamps over the existing 10/22! It will have little to no change in the accuracy of your existing gun! The only benefit might be free floating the barrel, but if you have a longer bull barrel you may have other issues with the cheap aluminum receivers nowadays. Reason the factory SR22 comes with a bushing in the hand guard to support the barrel.

I agree! When you can have an archangel kit, or a Tapco for under $200, or just buy a SR22! There is a reason Fabsports still has lots of Nordic chassis in stock!

Again this is just a game of dress up so why blow the bank to make it look cool! I put my money in the barrel and trigger, and went cheap on the outfit!

Just like with the ladies it's what's under the clothes that counts!

Looks nice. The fact that you can add any ar accesory is also a cool feature. With the tapco kits etc you can only have what you get..

Instead of building a cover with these features for the receiver, why not a receiver with all these features?
Or would Ruger frown on that.

I like that idea. Give some competition to Volquartsen, Dlask or any other company that make aftermarket receivers for the 10/22 platform. You could lighten the load a bit if it was all in one. Just drop in all your favorite internals and your off to the races.

Why would I spend $500+ on an SR22 when I already have a 10/22 with a 12" barrel and a box full of AR parts?

This is a much more economical and attractive alternative (for me) than buying a factory rifle or putting a Tapco stock on.

Then there is already a Nordic kit out there for you! All Im saying is this is nothing new, and there is already alot of options available!

The Nordic is butt-ugly and $20 more expensive. You also end up with a big gap between the receiver rail and the handguard rail.

The nordic/sr22 doesn't solidly mount the forearm.
That makes open sights, lasers, etc. useless except for looks.

The archangel is plastic, the forearm flexes around and aligns poorly with the barrel.
They also feel and look kind of cheesy in person. Hitting them with some flat black paint helps a bit...

The tapco's are okay, but you can't use ar forearms, and are limited for stocks and grips. They're also kind of ugly !

Nea's chassis properly aligns standard ar forearm top rails for a monolithic look.
I've got one on the way to replace my nordic chassis.
I'll post up some pics and some comments when it shows up.

I think your custom title need to be "industry expert".
