Right. Sorry that came out wrong. I guess I was referring to the upper rail portion of the receiver being encased in your chassis. Thinking about it I guess a lot of other designs do that as well, SR 22 , EVO, Blah, Blah, Blah.. I'll just shut up now before I make myself look more stupid...

How much do I need to start saving? I was thinking of picking up an SR-22, but I may retro-fit my existing 10/22.

Just when I thought I finally decided on my 10 22 project, this comes along. Would like to know more.

Take AR grip, stock and barrel nut. The hole near the rear are attachment points for QD sling mounts.......... The final version is going to be slimmed down further and the back end is going to be contoured more like the M-14 Troy Chassis.
