Nea 102

Are they referring to the directive Steve Blaney sent to the RCMP just before he left office? That the Liberals have repealed?

Wow...if they are counting on that it will be a very disappointing month come June 2017.

That was my worry. Figured they would know the situation on that given they are in the business.

Even if it was enacted, a gun made by a new manufacturer, as a new make and model, wouldn't fit within the 6 months of a different frt entry anyways. The other entry would be a guide, but the nea102 would still need to be ruled on before the 6 month clock started. No published frt, no running clock.

I'm sure that Dave hasn't been involved with NEA since 2012 or 13. My dealings with him were good. My bolt failed in a 1st generation NEA AR 15 and it was replaced quickly and without any grief. I did not post on this site and didn't throw stones at them , had no issues.

You all have your ways of dealing with people, mine many be different?

Time for the haters to pipe up how they were wronged again and again!

Cheers and good shooting!

A failed bolt isn't an issue?

(shrug) They had a batch of bad bolts. Bolts broke and they sent out new ones. I've had problems with other manufactures, and sometimes it went smooth, sometimes it didn't. Only NEA gets the scapegoat treatment around here...oh wait, sorry there's a new company getting jumped on for no apparent reason these days.

so this is what NEA is saying now......

"The clock runs out on the RCMP in 30 days. They have to give us a classification by end of May"

so another 30 day mention.... we've been told this before but hey! staying positive

Out of principal money went to a precision project. No one but themselves to blame for this bad publicity.

Not really BAD, much more poorly timed.
They should know better than to get Canadians hopes up with the system we have, keep quite until you know what it will be.

If it comes in NR I will still see about buying one. In the meantime I'm not waiting. If they come, they come. If not, whatever.

I am on the same mentality now, money is going to more reloading supplies and a new precision project. If it comes out NR, I'll get it later, just wont be right away.

Maybe it's costing a lot of money, to make this happen.
So before they fully committed all the cash, they wanted to gauge interest.
See if it's worthwhile.

I know if it happens, I'll find a way to get one, even though I'm tapped out.
From a MV and Insite build.
