Nea 102

Who said it takes PMags?

Ryan

That was me. Sorry if it's not accurate. I'm just going by a comment NEA made on their Facebook page stating that it wasn't an out of spec magwell like another Canadian manufacturer and that it would accept all gen pmags and xcr pistol mags.
Sorry if it's wrong. I guess I should've mentioned all this when I said it took pmags.

The videos of the NEA25 all show pmags, how different the 102 is something I can't comment on. It wouldn't make much sense to change the mags well to me though.

Judge Reinhold: Christmas came.... No Weenie whistle!

Thanks NEA, with you at the helm I can keep the jokes coming! Sorry tried to find the actual clip but come only find the one where he got his weenie whistle at this rate I won't be posting that any time soon LOL.

I'm going to laugh really hard if they sell the gun for $1600 but it uses $120 proprietary magazines.

That is exactly what I'm worried about and with the silence I wouldn't be surprised. Is there even a picture out there of the 102 with a mag in it? I can't find any...

It should take Pmags considering it's reported to be the same as the original AR10. The original mag design was the SR25/DPMS mag pattern for the AR10. The so called waffle mag of the AR10 was the same pattern as the SR25. Hence why the AR10A model went back to that style while the AR10B uses the M14 based mags.

But much like tonight's lack of an announcement, who knows until it actually happens.
