NEA 14" Barrel issue.

my Dlask did the same thing last trip at the range with the S&B slugs, never had a problem with other brands but I didn't shoot it that much really.
I think this has more to do with the ammo tho, brass feels extremely soft on them to say the least. we'll see if the issue reappears with other ammo eventually.

I am no NEA fanboy if you are wondering, quite the opposite actually.

S&B slugs are terrible, the worst ammo I ever used. Some of them came damaged/warped/bent chipped right out of the box. I wouldn't judge any shotgun with this ammo.

I've got one of the first batch barrels with all the park on the inside. Damn near impossible to extract.
NEA- never again.
Fool me once....

When I contacted Dlask mentioning I was having issues Joe asked me to ship my barrel back in exchange for a new one which I received last week. For what I can tell I it cannot happen with the new one; the extractor isn't cut as deep as the 1st, there is no space for the brass to bulge at all on this one. I haven't tried it yet tho, but I'm not that worried really.
Kudos to Dlask, what did NEA do with their faulty barrels? d:h: lol

They slashed the priced and sold them to fools.

Oh look at that, they're on sale again for $150. I wonder why?

Doesn't come with a sight because that's what serious end users want, lol. "May need to polish the chamber....." At least SFRC is a little more accurate with their description.
