Hey fellas, anyone own or have any shooting experience with these rifles? Seems like a great deal for poor folks like me. What can you tell me about it?

Before the less polite folks pile on this with sarcastic replies, there are lots of threads already.

The search function is not all that user friendly, but you will find lots of opinions. Make sure you search for "NEA" and change the "find posts" box to "one year or newer".

Some guys love them, some folks hate them.

Take a look at the search results below:

I have an NEA lower build with an NEA barrel and I'm quite happy with it. Only a couple hundred rounds thru it and no malfunctions of any sort.

No pinch clamp on the forend and a different muzzle device. Is this the new look? I've been wondering when they would get rid of that hideous clamp.

Ooohhhh yeah. I didn't notice that at first.
That's a def' improvement.

I agree that old clamp just made it look . . . bubba'd.

Thank you for the tip!

P's I'm pretty sure that ugly clamp is just on the bottom rail now instead of the sides, not sure why they wouldn't get rid of it for a different design

I have a couple of these in 7.5, and my advice would be to save a few hundred more and go with a DD, LMT, or even a Core15....

from what I understand they have been far more consistent in terms of quality of internals and overall fit and finish, but there have still been some valid complaints from some respected CGN shooters over the past year. As much as I like promoting Canadian Industry, I would look elsewhere at this time.

buy once, cry once...

just my opinion of course...
