I also found that if you oil your receivers and make them shiny all the flaws show up. but as stated they are 100% milled from billet and will have some tooling marks. my lower is very similar to yours running fool as long as the product is consistent and that is known and disclosed prior to sale i have no problem with it. I said as much to the NEA rep i have been in communications with. just don't stick me with the factory seconds without a price reduction... anyways the vendor i purchased from has made steps to get me up and running shortly. And I hope to give a better review this weekend.
