Nea-15

I say I have watched 3 norinco ARs fail catastrophically injuring the user on 2 occasion and seen m305 fall apart in the users hands. And one right out of the box have a major failure resulting in a missing digit for the user. You may be one of the lucky ones that got a good one. For me I'll always recommend against them for reasons stated above.

wow feeling justified in avoiding Norinco guns..

I know the OP already made his choice but I was happy with my NEA. Bought a 10.5" and out of the box, yes it did have a problem with doubling. You could see on the disconnect where they chopped off the back side. Wrote to them and I had a new FCG in about 3 days (hammer, trigger, disconnect and pins) I wouldn't sell my rifle for anything, she is part of my collection now. I guess I like s%*t products as I have just purchased a Spikes Jack lower to assemble.

Do a search with nea as the key word and three years as the time line, prepare to be amazed. The issues include but are not limited to
Broken bolts
broken cam pins
over sized holes
doubling when firing
loose barrel extensions
loose gas keys
unstaked gas keys
gas keys with angle grinder damage
rails out of square
burrs
rifles shipped with no BCG
cartooned flash hiders
ejection port covers that don't fit
over sized gas ports
barrel extension failures
charging handles that wouldn't clear back plates
uppers that are out of spec
lowers that are out of spec
bolt ford assists that fall off
Those are just the ones I remember

Appreciate your feedback on their issues. I haven't experienced any as of yet, but as a precaution, flipped the NEA and joined the Daniel Defense club. I told my wife it was your fault, hope you don't mind :)
