NEA .300 Blackout feedback/reviews

...all right, so I guess I'm contacting NEA about my own barrel, then....

I'll try some FMJ reloads in the meantime. Where do you guys go to for cheap .308 projectiles?

150 grain or so, I would imagine...

Higginson Powders sells bulk Hornady 150gr FMJ......

Cheers.

Found some winchester bulk bag ones at WSS. I'll give those a whack before mail ordering any

I am glad you got what you should have had to begin with. So how does it shoot?

I was away this wknd but I'll install the barrel sometime this week. I exchanged a couple emails with NEA and they said the new barrel was reamed with one of the current batch of PTG reamers. The same batch of ammo that were snug in my original barrel, drop in and fall out like my DD barrel. I'm guessing it may have been a worn reamer? Who knows? I sent them a few of my reloads for testing and they shot them out of my original barrel and said it cycled fine.

Personally, I wasn't comfortable with how snug the barrel was but NEA stepped up to the plate and did everything possible to ensure that I was 100% satisfied. I think any other company would have just sent me back my original barrel and said "looks fine to us, good luck."

worn out reamer is my guess too. As to the rest I will just leave that alone.
