NEA Ambi Safety - available now

Can someone post up the size of the allen key needed to remove the safety set screw?

Mine exploded while trying to remove the set screw and I now cant find any of it:redface: Damn it is in there tight.

No idea what size. I know I had a hard time finding one that worked so it's got to be some oddball Metric size.

I might have ended up using a small Torx one but I can't remember for sure.
 
I have one from wolverine, however I am still waiting on the ambi mag release, which I charged and still did not receive :(

Don't feel like tearing the entire thing down twice...

Went to the VZ-darkside, eh Andy?

The mag release takes about a minute to change and doesn't have anything to do with the selector.

Actually, the first rifle I was using for three gun was the 858, but I sold most of them off to get a Rauch finished one :)

I really like them because they are so light but the Swiss Arms gives me such a greater advantage, I usually goto that come shoot time.

But I still got alot of love for the 858!.

I know I know, but it still requires me to sit at the bench and put some time into it. Preferably, I like to make one visit to the bench and get all my parts in rather than having three or four due to backordered parts. It's just one of my things :) (read:lazy)

Sitting on my bench I have: Tactical bolt release and an ambi safety. Just waiting on the ambi mag release.
 
The entire shape of the safety toggle needs a re-design.
I purchased one of the first batch. It's sharp and wiggles around way too much.
I will try the dremmel fix for the sharp edges and the washer fix for the wiggle.
