Nea ambi safety problem

I just picked one up. Was trying to install it and thought I was going mad because I could not install it like Stevo did on his ( right handed , flick safety down to the 6 o'clock with thumb on left side to release safety ). I looked at the pics of other peoples and realized that the safety notches on mine are the same as the notches on the original shaft. On others the notches are reversed so the safety on/off are opposite of stock set up. Is the new batch different or am I missing something? Thanks

so after doing some searching I found that these new ones like the one I bought, keep the same safety action as the stock safety, ie down/forward = safe and up to the rear = fire on the CZ858. It can work the way i wanted it to but not without alot of work and the safety ends up where i would not want it on the right side ( right side ends up in the 12 oclock with the left side at the 3 oclock on safe ). I hope that NEA makes a new one like the old one, but until then im returning this product. Thanks for the help
 
Ah darn...that sucks. Just got mine and have yet to install but was hoping to try same setup as Stevo's and what Mr.4x4 just outlined. Might have to return as well for now too.
 
Damn. That sucks to hear. I was just looking forward to getting another ambi safety for a CSA shorty I was lanning on buying. Any updates on whether NEA has switched back to making the previous style of ambi safety?
