Hey is anyone using this Brake on the ARs if so please let me know what type of rifle its on (length of barrel/gas sytem etc) and how its working for you for ultimately getting back on target...felt recoil I dont care about....Loudness i could care less and I dobule plug anyways. I need an inexpensive brake that will conquer muzzle rise.

Thanks

Used a Crusader for the last two years on a Franken Gun AR. 18.5 inch stainless Noveskie barrel, rifle length gas system. It does help get back on target. I've used a Holland brake on an AR and one made by a machinist/barrel maker. On the AR, there's not much appreciable difference.

As for leaning into the rifle doing more than a brake, how about you use a brake and lean into it. Use whatever you can to get an operational advantage.

I have one on my 14.5" DI carbine. It is great for keeping on target, I love it, but keep in mind it is a brake; as far as mitigating muzzle rise, a standard A2 birdcage is probably as effective or more so.

I used one for the last two years in SR competition on a 20 in Wilson stainless with IVI, 69 gr and 77 gr. It works well and there is an appreciable difference from the A2 flash hider.

The finish was pretty thin, and looked worn and scratched right out of the bag since it was shipped with a crush washer in the bag. I polished it off to match the bbl. Fit was good, but there was another guy at NSCC that had one and had to chase the threads to fit it.

I have had one on a Nork 14.5" carbine length DI rifle for 2 years. No muzzle flip and no recoil, the finish though is pretty thin as noted above. Threads were just fine. Works quite well IMHO.

I saw this video and most of those brakes are BIG $$$$ and hard to find here in Canada...thanks

Thats awesome...thats what I want to hear...thats the exact gun its going on!

the crusader pushes the muzzle down and off target i got ride of mine might be great on a bolt action but of the AR its not for me

I run one on my 10.5 ar and love it. Helps keep the gun on target for fast follow ups during 3 gun. Couldn't be happier.
