This is starting to scare me.

People are posting issues of these new NEA rifles in the dozens and there's fanboys jumping all over people who are pointing out the facts, these rifles are of poor quality and are flawed.

All you the fanboys are doing is making it so guys who are new to the hobby are going to get duped into buying an inferior product.

I am not anti-NEA in any form, they seem to have great customer service but this cover up bulls**t is getting out of hand.

A guy made a thread about how his NEA rifle was having cycling issues, a dozen NEA fanboys jumped down his throat "OH IT MUST BE THE MAGAZINE, CAN'T BE THE RIFLE." so the poor guy edited his post to take NEA out of it to avoid further trolling.

So this guy tried new magazines, turned out (big surprise) it was the rifle.

It's a fact there are way more guys on here with cheap norinco's than the NEA's and we are seeing WAY more NEA issues.

edit: just gave the rules a read through, only thing I could find this could be against is trolling or trouble making, that is not my intent. Having just bought an AR15 in the last 2 months I was leaning heavy towards the NEA's and had I been misinformed and received a product that did not function I would be extremely upset. I just want to bring light to all the coverups on this forum it is supposed to be a place to discuss these weapons without a massive fanboy bias.

Given the short time that NEA has been on the scene, I am comfortable promoting the product as I am certain the issues will get farther and farther apart.

I know the team at NEA wants and needs to hear of the issues so that modifications can and will be made.

It is in no way "an inferior" product. However, there have been some negative posts made from "questionable" sources. Which may be why people are a little skittish....

As a retailer, I can say I've had batches from just about every manufaturer: DPMS, Stag, S&W and yes.... LMT that gave me grief.

Just give NEA a few more months and few mre rifles to sort out the problems before you write them off please.

Is this not a place to discuss black rifles? Their reputations? Issues with them??:confused:

I don't disagee. I just think this thread has great potential for a #### storm to errupt almost immediately followed by a quick death.

I respect your opinion and I agree with you, what I am trying to point out is there are a lot people with legit issues, or just joe-bloe's saying "Hey, you know they are having hiccups." and then people jump down their throats for it.

f:P:

1. Try calling the boss at Norinco and demanding a flaw (no matter how small or large) be rectified immediately and let me know how you make out with that.

2. Many of the "Fanboys" as you so affectionately refer to them as, have pointed out facts, corrected misinformation or commented on a warranty offered by a company willing to make right on all shortcomings; yet they get labelled by folks like yourself.

3. If this is all you have to post about, you really should get out more.

4. Fail.

It doesn't matter what NEA product you bring negative comments about the fanboys will jump on you. Find tolerances out, it's your fault. Find poor machining? You didn't clean your part correctly.

NEA is a home grown manufacture who jumped without looking into AR production and I have to say good on them. That said, they have to work on getting better Quality Controls because they have let a fair amount of junk out into our market, dirtying their own name.

At least NEA doesn't fling personal insults anymore when someone dares speak out.

For me, it's like buying a new car. There is always some issues on some of the first production models. It is normal

I have a NEA upper receiver. Does it work, yes, no issue, but the external finish and tooling mark makemit look like a Norc. But it was an early prod and price was good.

I will buy more of their product in the future if the price remains good and I am sure that finish will continue to improve.

At the end of the day, a Canadian made AR is good for everybody, and because they are basically the only one, they deserve respect. If it was so easy, it wouldhave been done before.

I agree that both positive and negative feedback Are important. There are strong points and weaker one in everything.

One of the thing with CGN is that there is no bias... And no trolls...

Read the how do NEA's shoot thread there's at least a half dozen in that thread alone...

Half a dozen is more the dozens you claimed in the initial thread.............. NEA has already posted that their first dealer shipments went out with improperly sized gas ports and was not caught because the guns were tested with cans. It's a single issue that is known and has been addressed. I can attest to this as y upper was swapped out.

It's not like there are a pile of guns out there with many issues, if there were I would be reconsidering keeping my nea 15

For some reason I get accused of fanboydom a lot. Not just on NEA stuff either, but that's besides the point.

I would NEVER defend out of tolerance issues or poor machining - and honestly I don't think I've seen anyone doing that?

When people have NEA issues, I usually see people advising them to contact the manufacturer. When the OPs listen and do so, they consistently seem to post that NEA made it right pronto. That IS laudable.

Provided they rapidly rectify the issue(s) so future buyers don't have the same grief, that is.

I think a lot of "fanboys" come from the fact that NEA has spent time here, listening to the CGN community and producing qualtity items.
Now I am not a NEA fanboy, I own NO nea products. BUT the fact that they, and other manufacturers like Rob arms, kriss, cz, ruger and yes, even keltec, are willing to go the proverbial "extra mile" by listening to the Canadian market does win them a lot of points.

It's hard not to get caught up in the online p*ssing match and politics here, if you handled a NEA rifle, not knowing it was made by them, would it make a difference? I bet it would. Just the same with a nork.

I'm not going to quote the past 5 or so replys but this is addressed to you guys.

Everything you say is correct, initial runs do see flaws, their customer service seems to be good etc.

I am not saying NEA is a bad company, I am saying give it up with this conspirator cover up #### whenever somebody says they have an issue with their NEA or knows somebody who has.

Nothing was covered up.... There are numerous threads where nea has come out and described in exact detail what the issues are, how they were resolved and how they will not resurface.

Btw, you suck at math.
