NEA M lok handguard issue

I bought a NEA Mlok handguard from the EE a while ago. When I tried to install it, the way the barrel nut lines up makes it impossible to install the gas tube straight in. If I torque the nut so I can slide the gas tube in the groove, the handguard would be canted. But if I try to straighten out the handguard, the groove is blocked. Is there any way to solve this or is it because of NEA's proprietary BS or is the barrel nut not the right one to begin with?

Install the barrel nut so the gas tube notch lines up, then install your gas tube/gas block.

The handguard slides over the nut off-center, then you twist it into place.

Thanks for the reply!Yeah I figured it out digging through some old NEA handguard threads.

It seems kind of goofy at first but then you realize it is a very positive and secure lockup.
