Well I have some news on my situation.

The Vendor has offered me and I have accepted full refund for the return of my POS CQB.

Having been burnt by NEA for 80 dollars in shipping of my upper and my FCG with no signs of effort on their part to make me whole again.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me so NEA is no longer an option for me.

I have decided to spend a few hundred more of my hard earned money at another vendor and get myself something a lot nicer. I know many people on here had already given that opinion and I am now in agreement.

It is sad that I won't be spending on a "Canadian" made product. But I am so happy to get away from this company and the drama/BS that comes with it. i have had 2 weeks of run around false promises and dealing with a fellow who would change my sent emails in his replies in order to make it look like he had not sent me incorrect information.

Sigh... McFail.

no attempt by anyone else representing the company to make right his obviously less than honorable actions.

moving on I can not recommend this product based on my experiences.

so my budget has increased and now there are a lot more options and I feel FREE.

now for some fun other things NEA can mean:

Never ending arrogance
Not even acceptable
Not earning accolades
No easy answers
Never Ever Again.
 
Here is my vote for CORE 15. Call Gary at Wanstalls for availability. Unfortunately we are caught in another gun buying frenzy in the US, so AR are probably getting scarce.
 
Well, I am sorry to here that you have come to this conclusion the hard way… I really wish that potential customers could have been better informed about the potential problems with NEA at this point in time…

Anyhow, check out CORE-15, Stag, and Daniel Defence… in that order.
 
I would suggest CORE15 or the new Windham Weaponry AR platforms.

Windham has a very very very competitive price point.
 
Purely Customer service related issues at this point never got to fire the thing even once. they shipped it out uninspected as stated in my review old receiver with old trigger group and old castle nut plate. If you own one and like it I am happy for you this is MY experience and one i will not forget.
 
Surprise surprise, now that they have been run off CGN, the "make it right" customer service they touted has gone with them. 100% shocked!

So happy SFRC made me wait 4 months for my back ordered NEA 14.5", gave me the chance at the last second to come to my senses and switch to a DD.

Daniel defense has my interest right now and I might be able to track down a v5 this afternoon. i will make a new thread to see how much hate DD gets.
