NEA no longer an option

NEA account has been informed to NEVER contact me again.

These clowns cannot take a hint to GO AWAY and shut down shop.

YOUR PRODUCT IS GARBAGE AND YOUR PEOPLE ARE WORSE.

The NEA account on here has been pm'img me and trying to make a weak ass attempt at saving face.

I cannot post details of the pm but I am getting just complete arrogance from one NEA employee claiming little to no knowledge at all of all the drama on here, leading me to beleive that the NEA account is shared by possibly many people.

Be warned folks, this is all I can share without breaking the rules.

Hey, at least you didn't have to follow up 3-4 times over a month to get an answer that was coming "shortly".

At the end of the day I'll bet in couple of years the NEAs will be a contender, but they will also cost the same as DD Rifle.

This is amusing. Not too long ago, many a folk were praising NEA for a 'made-in-canada' option and talking about the quality of their stuff. Now they are getting the low-quality, high dollar image.

My experience with NEA has only been the M14 extended mag and bolt releases. Although the order took over half a year to fulfill, the pieces were to spec and worked out fine, thankfully.

If there is this kind of quality on a copy of an old design just wait till they try to build a totaly new firearm. that is if the non restricted semi they promised ever appears.

Honestly, there's a ton of hyperbole in this thread. Their latest batch of rifles, gen 2, are excellent so far from all reports -- including my own. Dweenz got a total lemon (which also appeared to be a last gen model) and I sympathize with him and get why he wouldn't want another NEA, but that singular experience shouldn't taint everyone's views.

Singular experience? really? Do a search on NEA and see what comes up. The product that nea has put out in the past has been a bad joke. They were sending out rifles without testing them and then lying about it. For heavens sake Dave was claiming that dweens ar had been tested when the thing couldn't even be cocked, for two different reasons. Yet somehow there were empty cases in the box, how do you get empties from a rifle that can't be cocked? I think NEA has the potential to make a good product. The next year will be the test I think.

I know all about Dween's AR. I actually sent him a PM when it first happened suggesting he send it back right away instead of trying to fix what was obviously some really bad problems. If you re-read my post, you'll see that I stated NEA's rifles are in a new generation, so hopefully the problems of the past are just that. (Hopefully for myself too, since I just bought one!)
