NEA non-restricted black rifle coming?

Why not do both at the same time?

Short-stroke piston (Like an AR-180) on top of their Swiss Arms lower?

:D

IF NEA were to do that (a big IF), I am 10% certain they would not announce it until they at least had a video clip of the prototype functioning.

I'm 100% we wont... er wouldn't. ;)

We have about a dozen projects in various stages.. none of which will be released until we're ready for people to see them. Some big, some small.

a quality built AR180b @ $1300+/- would be nice.

....someone has built AR180b lowers in Canada before... ....not sure who....

Why would you pay $1,300 for a copy of a rifle that Armalite use to sell in the US for less than $800?

Would it be even possible for NEA to make a legal copy of the AR180? I would assume the design is trademarked as Armalite was only manufacturing them 5 or 6 years back.

Then again im not 100% sure about trademarks, patents and what not so i wouldnt mind some clarification on the matter. A Canadian made non restricted AR180B would be absolute tops. I would be the first one in line to get one.

Ack! This is too cryptic for me.
I would gladly pay to have a CDN made NR black rifle that could use 10rd LAR mags.
