you have no idea, what you are talking about, best to stick with Golf, or something.
It would be great for the Canadian public to have another non restricted semi auto rifle.

There are 3 types of products cheap good and high quality, the issue is some MFG try to convince the public they are a quality product, but that not why there market is.
Lets take cars, Kia make a cheapo car, they know they make a cheap car and they try and stay in there lane, at times pushing the market a little, trying to convince people its more then what is just a basic cheap car. But mostly they know there market is cheap new cards that last 150k.

Dodge on the other hand, try to tell you they make a quality product, market is as such, with words like bumper to bumper warenty. but in the end its a cheap over prices product, dressed up as a quality product.
Dodge owners are unhappy, if said dodge owners would have brought a Kia, knowing that its a cheap basic product, most smart people would be happy.

same from brands like NC star, fubus holsters, they keep to there lane, they know they are cheaply made product , no ones says I broke my nc star mount, "what happened" im so supprised" .
Buy a DD, KAC or Larue mount, marketed as the best and, you get a quality product.
I could go one for days about this..

I never thought you would be the type to resort to an insult dude. Always held you in high regard to the manner in which you conduct yourself as a businessman and a member of the firearms community.

And if I recall Kia has one of the best warranties offered. However probably like Vortex it's because you have to use it. :p

So where does S&J Hardware fall? In your "humble" opinion of course....

BTW, you proved my point...and alienated customers along the way.

And yet you buy your Lexus, or Porsche and it has failures like any other mechanical piece of equipment and you wonder why you spent so much money on that piece of junk. You go to buy your KAC, DD, or Larue mount and you can't even buy one, because they don't have to capability to manufacture them for the market they are targeting....therefore leaving the masses to purchase the damn Dodge.

When the ATR Modern Hunter came out I did wonder if ATR was planning on licensing out the design to more of a mass production manufacturer. FRT already in place, keep the MH for those that want top shelf and fill the $1500 market up with guns that ATR would get a $$ piece of too. Might have been an easy win-win situation.

But I don't knwo much about the gun production business I'm in the consupmtion dept. ;)

well its not like me to say something like this, at least not now days, but it is what it is. people have to understand its not just what product they are buying and why.
I own a few norinco guns, they are cheap and I get what I paid for, I have no issue with that.
I,m not a vortex fan either, I have owned 4 pts vipers and had to send 3 of them in for service, the 4th one I sold. soon as I got it replaced, these were $1000 scopes.

if you had seen the manufacturing shop floor at DD or KAC, you would see they have no issues filling large orders, KAC have machines waiting and ready for when those large orders come in. a few years ago KAC made 200,000 sets of BUIS sets for a contract, and delivered on time.
I do understand not everyone can afford quality products in every part of there life, but its all about value for money . Kia is great value for the money so is Norinco, simth & Wesson M&P.

Our shotgun products are considered by most to be the best in there class, anywhere in the world.
That's quite a statement I know, but that's not us saying that, that is 10yrs of hard work and 300,000 items sold in over 46 countries , 1000,s of police forces, and regular joe shooters.
we set out to make high quality product that you can bet you life on, and quite a few people have.
we are in talks with the number 1 custom combat shotgun builder in the world to supply them our products as an OEM.
After years in sales and also working in a few gun shops, 30yrs of being into shooting,if I have learnt one thing it is that, when you get into hobby, be it boats, cars music, no one and I mean no one every said I want the cheapest product out there.
So again we follow the lead of companies like ATRS,Cadex, kac, lmt and try to make the best products we can for a fair price.

.

So hopefully some dealers are done losing respect in this thread...

Back on topic - is this actually going to happen this year? It looks like this NR NEA 308 thing has been promised before. Does anyone have any concrete info, or is this a multi-year teaser again?

Canadaammo, if you can muster a pre-sale, I'm in!

For the record I have an S&J barrel and muzzle break on one AR that I am extremely happy with. First 2000 rounds through it without cleaning not one issue. Planning on Building an SBR with your barrel.

Fine Canadian products.

A Ferrari is all fine and well until the over engineered clutch blows up at 30,000 miles or the company sends a seace and desist for customizing the vehicle you paid for.

While there is a lot of butt hurt and opinions in this thread, a "cheap".. High value.. NR black rifle would sell well regardless of previous QA issues. Might be some issues but there is with anything... Lada or Ferrari.

Non Restricted AR-10's in the near future? Hell ya, sign me up to help!!!

Knight's Armament SR-25's for moose hunting!!!!

Kinda not impressed by the snark of the not-a-competitor competition, though. Attitude like that turns me off.

Absolutely agree, very distasteful and unprofessional. I Have had the opportunity to hold and shoot a couple of newer NEA rifles, they were great. You dont need a 5k gun to shoot, many lower priced guns work well and have a great fit and finish.
I bought myself a gen 4 POF P308 and its very well made amd very accurate and has a track record to boot. But I would never shy away from an NEA either. And being a Canadian product I would choose to support them before others in that range.
Good on them I hope they get it figured.
If the AR10 becomes NR Ill buy an NEA as well.

You hit the nail on the head. I've never bought a gun from the "ferrari" guy but I had thought about it.....until reading his posts. I can only imagine his replies when you tell him his 5k gun won't take a pmag or shoot inside of 3" at 100.
