hey guys, i want to put a KX5 and 9" rail on the NEA PDW 7.5" with CCS stock that i have - what do i need to know?
 
What kind of ammo you running through it
You may have issues with Norinco or wolf.
Mine is a little finicky really like heavier bullets
Upgrade your extractor spring and o ring.

223/556 - have norinco on hand currently
good heads up on the extractor spring and o ring - got a preferred cdn source?
 
Saskatoon gunworks has them.
Try the Norinco
I'm sure you will have better luck with a lower pressured round
That is more consistent.
 
Is your Norinco .223 or .556
I know my nea 7.5 says .556
But I really don't trust it
I was getting pressure signs when shooting .556
You might want to try some 62gr .223
 
honestly, not sure, does norinco even make both? ive shot it through my ddmk18 no problem and havent ever thought about it

n00b question: when looking for a rail is there anything i need to consider on the pdw re: gas tube, or pinning, etc?
from my research the kx5 is 1.2" and the rail i want is 1.3" internal diameter - so should fit no prob

The kx5 is basically the proven kx3
Redesigned by request to fit inside all rails.
You will have no issues.
